Promoting a user to an Administrator in Hypercare grants them additional privileges and the ability to create and edit Schedules, and update other users' profile information. Existing Administrators will be able to promote other users to become an Administrator.
Types of Administrator roles
- Organization Administrator (Org Admin): will be able to manage all Users and schedules across the organization in Hypercare. This is the highest level of Admin privileges a User can have. These administrators can promote other Users to be (1) Org Admin, (2) Site Admin, or (3) Department Admin.
- Site Administrator (Site Admin): will be able to manage all Users and schedules in a given site and all the departments in the given site. A Hypercare organization can have multiple sites. These administrators can promote other Users to be (1) Site Admins of the given site or (2) Department Admin of a department in the given site.
- Department Administrator (Dept Admin): will be able to manage all Users and schedules in a given department. These administrators can promote other Users in their department to be Dept Admins.
Steps to promote a user to be an administrator
- An existing Administrator will need to login to the Admin Portal.
- Select the User Profile of the user you would like to promote to an Administrator.
- Select the department, site, or organization-level administrator privileges to which you would like to Promote the user to. Note the type of Administrator you would like to promote the user to.
