Hypercare has the ability to detect if a message is not delivered to the recipient. To ensure that Users do not miss important messages on Hypercare, when it is detected that a message is not delivered, a SMS is sent to the recipient to notify them that a messages is waiting for them on Hypercare. This functionality is only available for Users with a mobile phone number on their profile.
How to disable SMS notifications
There is no option to disable SMS notifications from Hypercare at this time. If you do not wish to receive these SMS messages, you can "Block" or "Mute" messages from the number +1 (844) 688-9868 or +1 (647)490-1393 from your mobile message settings. However, please note that by doing so, you will not receive important Hypercare codes if you need to reset your password.
What happens if I have multiple mobile phone numbers on my profile?
If you have multiple mobile phone numbers on your profile, the SMS notifications will go to the mobile phone number that was first entered on your profile.
For example: Phone Number A was entered on the profile on January 1, 2022. Phone Number B was entered on the profile on January 2, 2023.
- In this instance, the SMS notification will go to Phone Number A, because this is the earliest entry on the profile.
If you want to change that notifications to ensure they go to Phone Number B, please delete Phone Number A from your profile, Save this change, and then re-add Phone Number A. This will result in the logic to capture Phone Number B as the earliest entry on the profile and ensure all SMS notifications go to Phone Number B.
