How do I delete a chat?

Overview

Currently, you are unable to delete a chat. However, you are allowed to archive chats. The Archive feature allows users to store selected chats in a separate folder. Chats that have been archived are not visible under the normal chats interface.

NOTE: Archiving a chat only applies for the user who performed the action, this does not apply to the other users in the chat. Additionally, when a user messages an archived chat, it automatically becomes unarchived.

Section 1: Archiving a Chat

To archive a chat, please follow the subsequent steps:

1. Open the Hypercare app and select on the Chats icon.
2. Locate the chat that you would like to archive and long hold/press on it.
3. Select the radio buttons on the left side of the chat(s) you want to archive.
4. Select the Archive  icon.
    

Section 2: Locating an Archived Chat

To locate archived messages, please follow the subsequent steps:

1. Open the Hypercare app and select on the Chats icon.
2. Click on the top right kebab menu icon.
3. Select the "Archived Chats" popup.
4. View all chats that have been archived.

Section 3: Unarchiving a Chat

To unarchive messages, please follow the subsequent steps:

1. Open the Hypercare app and select on the Chats icon.
2. Click on the top right kebab menu icon.
3. Select the "Archived Chats" popup.
4. Locate the chat that you would like to unarchive and long hold/press on it.
5. Select the radio buttons on the left side of the chat(s) you want to unarchive.
6. Select the Unarchive  icon.

2. Select the option to View Archived Messages.

3. View all chats that have been archived.

1. Click on your name on the top right corner of the webpage. 
2. Select the option to View Archived Messages.
3. Locate the chat that you would like to unarchive and hover over the chat.

5. Click Unarchive Chat.
