Steps to edit your profile
Users are now able to edit their profile information which includes the first name, last name, job title, notes, phone number, email address, and profile picture.
Note: If your organization manages Hypercare accounts through a third-party directory such as Azure Active Directory, the synced fields from the directory are not editable or removable. For details, please read: Why can't I edit or delete some fields in my profile?
Profile Picture
To edit your profile picture, please follow the subsequent steps:
- Tap on the icon to access your “Settings” on the Hypercare app.
- Tap on your profile.
- Tap on “Edit” underneath your profile picture and an image menu will appear.
- Select from Camera, Gallery, Edit, or View to customize your profile picture as desired.
Job Title
You will be asked to input your Job Title during the initial sign-up process on the Hypercare app. Your role specifies your profession as well as the department in which you work. Some examples can include:
- Physician / Urology
- Registered Nurse / Cardiology
- Registered Dietitian / Trauma
- Physician / Family Medicine
To edit your role, please follow the subsequent steps:
- Tap on the icon to access your "Settings" on the Hypercare app.
- Tap on your profile.
- Tap on your current role to begin editing.
- Tap once you are satisfied with the changes.
Phone Number
Note: Phone number is essential for Team Activation Escalations
To edit your phone number, please follow the subsequent steps:
- Tap on the icon to access your "Settings" on the Hypercare app.
- Tap on your profile.
- To change the visibility of your phone number, tap on your current phone number and select public or private.
- To delete an phone number from your Hypercare account, tap on the icon and tap .
- To add a phone number to your Hypercare account, tap on "Add phone". You will receive a Hypercare code via SMS to verify your phone number. Please enter the verification code as prompted and customize the visibility settings -public or private.
- Tap once you are satisfied with the changes.
Users are encouraged to share their email address to receive emails from their colleagues on Hypercare as well as Hypercare's monthly newsletters. To edit your email, please follow the subsequent steps:
- Tap on the icon to access your "Settings" on the Hypercare app.
- Tap on your profile.
- To delete an email from your Hypercare account, tap on the icon and tap .
- To add an email to your Hypercare account, tap on "Add email". You will receive a Hypercare code via email to verify your email address. Please enter the verification code as prompted and customize the visibility settings -public or private.
- Tap once you are satisfied with the changes.
To set a contact method preference:
- In your profile, next to the contact method, tap and hold the handle of the contact method.
- Drag the contact method and arrange it in the desired order

Tap the "Done" button at the top right of the screen to save my changes.
Profile Notes
Profile Notes allows users or admins to create Public Notes or Private Notes within the user profile. Profile Notes can store up to 25 notes. These notes will be visible or not be visible depending on the preference the user or the admin sets.
There are two types of Profile Notes:
- Public Notes - visible to everyone.
- Private Notes - visible only to the user and admins.
To edit your profile note, follow the subsequent steps:
- Tap on the icon to access your "Settings" on the Hypercare app.
- Tap on your profile.
- Select Notes on the top
- Click "+Add note" or tap on your existing note to edit note visibility and note details.
- Make the changes you desire
- Tap once you are satisfied with the changes.

- Underneath your profile picture, tap on "Edit Profile Picture" and an image menu will appear.
- Select Take Photo or Choose from Gallery to customize your profile picture as desired.
- Tap on "Save"in the top right once complete.
My "Role"

Profile Picture
Click on your profile name in the top right hand corner of the screen to open the drop down menu.
To change your profile picture, click "Set Profile Picture" where you will be prompted to upload a photo from your computer.
My "Role"

Currently, only the administrator(s) have access to edit role for users. Please contact your organization's administrator(s) or contact Hypercare Support directly if you require any assistance in changing your role.

Clicking your name on the top-right corner of the screen to navigate to my profile page.

Click "Update Profile"
- Click "+ Add another method" to add a new contact method, or edit the contact method
- Click "Update Profile" to confirm the change
To set a contact method preference:
- In your profile, click "Update Profile"
- Next to the contact method, tap and hold the handle of the contact method.
- Drag the contact method and arrange it in the desired order. The order number should change accordingly
- Click "Update Profile" to confirm the change

- Tap on the your profile avatar on the top right corner of the screen then click on "View Profile"
- Navigate to the notes section of the profile and edit the note in that field. You can choose to Add, Edit or Delete the Note.
- Tap "update profile" to confirm the change
