What is the Organization URL used for?
An Organization URL is a unique link that can be used by users to manually log into an organization, particularly when the organization is not publicly searchable within the app. It ensures that users can still access their login screen, even if they don’t see their organization name right away.
It's available as a backup for when the regular organization name search does not work. For example, if your organization has chosen to remain private or hidden from search results.
When do you need the Organization URL?
You will only need to enter the organization URL if the user chooses to login using Option 2: “Manually log into an organization” as outlined in these login guides: Logging in with SSO or Logging in Without SSO.
Here’s how it works:
- After selecting “Manually log into an organization”, you’ll be prompted to search for your organization by name.
- If an organization is publicly searchable, you can find and select it from the list.
- However, your organization may have chosen not to appear in the public search results. In that case, your organization’s name will not show up after trying to search for it.
- Instead, click on “Enter your org’s Hypercare URL”
- Enter your Organization URL and it will take you to the dedicated login page for your organization.
🔎 Where to find your organization URL?
You can locate your organization’s specific URL from:.
- The invitation email you received when you were invited to join the organization
- The welcome email sent when you signed up / created an account
- Your organization’s admin
