Hypercare now supports Code Team Activations that include physical pagers.
Users of the app, both Active and Shell accounts, that use physical pagers as a contact method will now receive a notification of the Team Activation when it is activated. Here is how to ensure you are receiving these notifications on your pager.

NOTE: Any activations should not include personal health information as pagers are not compliant with healthcare privacy regulations.
iOS - Steps for Team Activations in Hypercare:
- Select On-Call located on the bottom bar of the Hypercare app. It should be the second option closest to the left.
- Select the appropriate “site” that is needed for the activation.
- Select the appropriate “department” and select the appropriate Team Activation. It is important to note that Members of Team Activations can be tied to On-Call Roles(dynamically populate users based on who is “on-call” and Individual Users (statically contact these users every time the team is activated). If needed, after selecting the appropriate Team Activation, you will have the option to enter any additional detail if it is necessary.
- Finally, select the Activate button to send the activation through!

- Second, select the appropriate “site” that is needed for the activation.
- Then select the appropriate “department” and select the appropriate Team Activation. Once activated, a Group Chat with all team members of the team activation is created and the date and time of activation is listed. The individual who triggered the activation is automatically promoted to “Admin of the group chat and any additional members can also be added as needed.
