When it comes to creating on call schedules it can be helpful to know if there are any conflicts. Hypercare's conflict checking will ensure administrators are aware of overlapping shifts across departments and reduce the potential of double-booking clinicians. Conflict checking is available in both DRAFT and PUBLISHED modes.
When creating a schedule, the number of conflicts in any given schedule will show up in the top left beside DRAFT, appearing as ⚠️indicating the total number of conflicts.
To identify individual conflicts, simply hover over the ⚠️on the particular shift that the user is scheduled for. Any and all conflicts will appear in a scroll down window.
Individual conflicts can also be checked while inputting shifts clicking on the shift itself and selecting Check for Conflicts in the pop-up window. Any and all conflicts will appear at the top of the pop-up window.
Once the PUBLISH & NOTIFY button is clicked on the top right, when the administrator then selects PUBLISH a pop-up will appear showing you the total number of conflicts, if applicable. The administrator can choose to continue editing or they can select PUBLISH ANYWAY depending on their preference.
